Here is the 49th installment of the Dreams of Consciousness podcast, featuring an interview with Arif Rot about his new grindcore supergroup Code Error.
When I interviewed Arif back in Janaury, the topic of Code Error only came up at the very end - I didn't ask many questions at the time, because I knew very little about the project. It's the closest this podcast has come to a "tease". Fast forward a few months, and Code Error opened up for Rotten Sound at Rumah Api - their second gig ever. Since the self-titled EP had just come out a few weeks prior, I figured it was as good a time as any to do a full Code Error interview.
We talked about the history of the project, the difficulties of having members in other countries, and the band's plans for the future. I also asked if there will ever be a Code Error/Worm Rot tour. [In a word: No.]
