This interview with Manchester's Wode has been a long time coming. A mutual friend has been prodding me to interview the band for years - and as they're about to release their third album through 20 Buck Spin, it didn't seem like something I could put off any longer.
I spoke with drummer Tim Horrocks and guitarist/vocalist Michael Czerwoniuk about Wode's history, and how the various members became involved in the band. They also broke down their songwriting process, and how they went into the creation of their upcoming album Burn In Many Mirrors with a "clean slate".
My thanks to Tim and Mike for speaking with me, my buddy Knut for bringing them to my attention, and to you for listening.
