Musket Hawk don't discriminate when it comes to "heavy". The Baltimore trio blend of sludge, grind, hardcore, and death metal, keeping their songs brasive and unpredictable.

I spoke to the band about their history, their song writing process, and how their latest album Upside of Sick ended up being recorded at three different studios, and released by two different labels. We also spent a good deal of time talking about the Baltimore scene and bonding over Meatjack, Cattlepress, and all the great bands we were listening to 20 years ago.

My thanks to Musket Hawk for a great conversation, and to you for listening.
