Grey Skies Over Rapture kicked off the third and final night of Wellington's Symbiotic Metal Fest, and were the last band I interviewed. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling SNAFU, I missed their set entirely, but managed to meet up with guitarists Andrew Collett and Ben Claxton for a quick chat about the band and their music.
On a bench outside of Valhalla, we discussed how Grey Skies Over Rapture got started, their eclectic style, and their plans for their upcoming album. They also filled me in on some of the history of the Wellington scene, since they were one of the only bands from the city that I spoke with that week-end.
