I spoke with guitarist Ian Logan about how Kommand arose from his previous band Hoax, and how he feels about death metal fans saying that these former hardcore punks should "stay in their own lane". We also spoke about how his riff-writing style changed for their second album Death Age, and whether the History Channel is responsible for their war-themed lyrics.
