Speed and aggression define Chicago's Blood Of The Wolf. The band delivers their mix of death/thrash and "assault black metal" with precision and at ludicrous tempos - a testament to how metal will always get faster.
I spoke with guitarist/vocalist Mike Coniglio about not repeating his previous bands' mistakes with Blood Of The Wolf, and whether his time in Kommandant influenced his playing and writing style. We also discussed what's new for BOTW on their latest album IV: The Declaration Of War Eternal, and what a band owes its audience.
