This site has been plugging Human Cull since they released their split with DoC friends Homolka almost a decade ago. The grind power trio has always been a band to watch for lovers of forward-thinking, aggressive grindcore.
For the third week of DoC's "Grindtember", I spoke with Human Cull vocalist/guitarist Edd Robinson about why his style is "classic British grind", and what makes grindcore an atavistic style of music. We also discussed the "Kaiju riffs" on their latest album, To Weep for Unconquered Worlds, and why releasing albums DIY means they take longer to come out.
My thanks to Edd for speaking with me, and to all of you for listening.
