Chasmdweller are a Canadian duo who play a chimaeric form of death metal that's rife with blastbeats. From their initial atmospheric death metal releases, their sound has evolved to incorporate more slam parts and blastbeats.
I spoke with vocalist Donny G about how he met his bandmate Zach Smith, and what led them to form Chasmdweller together. We also discussed the writing and recording of Chasmdweller's latest release Flesh Crusade, and the other projects that Zach and Donny collaborate on.
