Dismemberment at The Acheron, 2015

Dismemberment present a melange of metal past and present. Classic death, black, and thrash metal serve as a jumping off point for the Ohio band to create something new, and decidedly progressive.

I spoke with guitarist/vocalist Luke Shively about Dismemberment's history, their latest album Arc of Ancients, and how they ended up with a name that another band was kind of already using. I also spoke with Luke about his work as an audio/recording engineer, and the time he played Malaysia with Incantation.

My thanks to Luke for speaking with me, and to you for listening.
