Richard Knox should be no stranger to readers of this blog; his bands (particularly Glissando) have been featured regularly, and his record label Gizeh has been one of my entry points into the world of drone, ambient and experimental music.
I spoke with Richard over Facebook Messenger about the history of Gizeh Records, his musical background, and the upcoming A-Sun Amissa album, For Burdened And Bright Light. We also spoke about the rapidly-changing nature of the music industry, and how Gizeh navigates it.
