Mixtape 55 - Shatter Brain

Here is the 55th instalment of the Dreams of Consciousness podcast, featuring an interview with Ryan Quarrington, Matthew DeSisto, and Pat Callaghan of Adelaide metal band Shatter Brain.

Shatter Brain opened for Ratos de Porao at their (somewhat troubled) gig in Kuala Lumpur. Since RDP's flight was severely delayed and we all had time to kill, I approached the guys about doing an interview.

We talked about the origins of the band, their drive and their  commitment - which includes drummer Ryan touring South East Asia with a torn ACL. We also spent some time talking about the nature of the scene in their hometown of Adelaide. It was one of the most fun and laid back interviews I've ever done.
